Doing Our Part for the Community …
The Woodstock Camera Club is not just about learning and growing in the art of photography. An equally large part of what we do is about sharing, and not just sharing among ourselves but with the community as well. We have offered our expert services to many charitable and community groups, helping them photograph special events, services and activities. We are proud to have been a part of many special events over the years including the Canadian Cancer Society “RELAY FOR LIFE”, the Woodstock Santa Claus Parade, Santa House operated by the BIA and photos at the United Way Breakfast with Santa just to name a few.
Our fund raising efforts like Santa House provide us with the necessary funds to provide these photographic services FREE OF CHARGE to these organizations. Our photos have appeared on advertising web sites, promotional materials and provide memories of these important events for those involved. We also provide photographic services at minimal charges to programs that do not qualify for assistance. Feel free to contact us for information.
